About Gary

I begin real estate in 1995 having only lived in Richmond for two years and literally knowing no one.  With a new baby on the way and soon to be a no-income family, I knocked on doors, called everyone who would talk to me, and quickly became one of my company's top agents, selling more than 100 homes in 2001.

Now 25 years later I am the owner of RE/MAX Action Real Estate with offices in Glen Allen and Charlottesville.  I have a great staff and group of agents and am still actively engaged in working with sellers and buyers.  While I don't sell 100 homes a year anymore - only about 30-50 - I am focused on providing my clients outstanding support.

As a resident of Western Henrico County, I live in the Wyndham Community along with my wife, two kids, and two dogs.  I also have an older daughter who has graduated VCU and now works in Syracuse New York as a Firmware Engineer (up until she got the job I never even know that was a thing?).

While agents many agents have moved into the "team concept" of real estate, I still handle the major aspect of my business myself.  I have a great staff that handles my back-office functions, but you are hiring a real estate agent to handle the sale of your home, not to delegate the multiple tasks involved to less experienced agents.
